The Eye of Tiger, is a part of the family of the Quartz. The "Quartz" takes from a significant Slavic word "hard" or more probably by a mining term quaderz, indicating "gangues", the quartz is a name of a family of minerals of the same chemical composition SiO2 and the nearby properties.
The eye of Tiger is the result of the transformation of the crocidolite of the eye-de-faucon (aggregate of Quartz finely acicular in inclusions of crocidolite opaque, blue crow with greenish, brilliant blue) with preservation of the fibrous structure.
